New Photography: McKnight Fellows 2005/2006

Exhibition and Programs at the Nash Gallery, August - October 2006

An exhibition featuring work by four McKnight Photography Fellows opens at the Katherine E. Nash Gallery on August 29 and runs through October 5. The four artists—Richard Copley, Todd Deutsch, Natasha D’Schommer, and Meg Ojala—were awarded $25,000 each from the University of Minnesota/McKnight Foundation Artist Fellowships for Photographers Program to underwrite their creative activities for a year. Three panelists from outside Minnesota made the selection from over 110 applicants in spring 2005. Examples of their work during the ensuing months will be presented in the exhibition and featured in an accompanying catalogue. A public opening reception at the gallery is scheduled for Friday, September 8, from 6-8:30 p.m.
